Christine 'Chris' A. Grandowicz

Christine “Chris” A. Grandowicz, 59, of Petersburg, MI, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Born February 22, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Richard J. and Wilma L. (Hoover) Grandowicz. A 1977 graduate of Bedford High School, she was then employed by Ford Motor Company in Woodhaven, MI, retiring in 2002. Chris loved cats, taking in and caring for several strays over the years. She and her mother collected several antique and modern dolls, going to several estate and garage sales for several years.
She is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Wilma Grandowicz, Sr.; brother, Richard Grandowicz, Jr.; and sister, Linda (Jim) Emptage. Chris was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold & Ella Wentworth, Louis and Helen Grandowicz and Walter Hoover.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd.
